What the name of the new report beside Temptation?

Hey does anyone know the name of the new resort beside Temptation Los Cabos?

It is the Barceló Los Cabos Palace Deluxe.

And it is not a new hotel, it has been there for a long time they have just completely renovated it and added a whole new wing.

We thought so. We have some vanilla friends going there (Fortunately not at the same time as us) that are probably going to get an eyeful! lol

I guess our cover story about our resort being called Temptations because of the amazing desert bar isn't going to hold up now....lol

If it's not a new building then it pretty much could be considered new.

We were at Desire when they were pouring the concrete foundations and it was basically a cement structure with lots of rebar sticking out of it.

There is about 6 feet between the buildings and yes, the Barcelo folks could get an eyeful.

I was checking the trip reports on Trip Advisor and folks who had come back from the Barcelo (a family resort) said the only annoyances they found from Temptations was the entertainment guy using a megaphone.

I just checked the link provided by CokewithLime and if you look at the arial photo of the Barcelo you can see Temptations right beside it, on the left hand side of the photos. The Barcelo is huge and really dwarfs Temptations.

The Barcelo is a brand new hotel, we have watched pretty much every phase of construction on our visits, there grand opening was just before Christmas 2009, what a beautiful experience watching a gorgeous fireworks show while sitting in the jacuzzi, very romantic, just wish it was still Desire.

Hi, I just returned from Temptation Los Cabos this past weekend.

Temptation Los Cabos was in the midst of erecting a permanent privacy shield between the neighboring Barcelo hotel and the jacuzzi, presumably in preparation for Desire Week.
