| So we really want to go deep sea fishing one day and perhaps were thinking of combining this with a booze cruise! Found a couple of charter sites which sound awesome, although we're missing one key ingredient, which is more people. We have 3 guaranteed, but usually need about 8 total to make it worth the charter fee. Check out this site and let us know what you think www.chartercabos.com fishing/sun/booze/meals... |

We charter a boat everytime we go on vacation... It may seem expensive, 700.00 for the day but if you are a die hard fisherman you will understand that the value is definately there... For Bern and I having a whole boat to yourself... and every rod that goes off is awesome... Last year we went with a group... and that was a blast... but when we can't find others to charter with we do it on our own and always find it was well worth the money.

Seems like an awful lot of money. We read and have kicked around your fishing posting, but that seems really excessive. That is the primary reason we haven't deep sea fished in the past and that we choose to fish for more inland fish--Dorado etc. That can be done far more cheaply. We've rented a Panga with a crew for as little as $240 a day--total plus tip--but it may be more nowadays; and we've caught dozens of hard-fighting fish... mostly beautiful dorado, some 'cuda, sierra etc. Or...anchor, bait-up and haul in the red snapper, roughy, sea bass, etc. ![]() The deep sea fishing can yield big fish, but can be hours between catches; and as you've posted, it is spendy. Maybe we're just cheap asses. | |

| We have friends that stay in Los Cabos every year and fish. They go to the marina and look for Carlos. His boat is called "Rondinella". Last year they paid him $800.00 for four people for the day. His boat, along with lots of others are listed here: ABY Charters Sportfishing Fleet - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico have fun! |
