BINGO! it is much more a smaller town feel...less hustle & bustle and more low key...although it can get wild at time (Squid roe @ 3am)...lol

We have gone to Cabo 2-3 times a year for the last 15 years....we love the vibe of that place! Are you guys open to new members joining your group?
You sound like a fun bunch. We have a group that we go to Desire with every year on New Years....... Makes it more fun with a group.

Dave
always

we honestly say to people that many of our best friends we met through this site and then at bbg/temptation cancun

so we always love meeting people from the site

and everyone we hang out with is very inclusive...........

To the single guys that are going no fear, I almost guarantee you that you will have more action in Cabo then in Cancun. There are some singles but also alot of couples that are there also like the singles as well,. Both guys and girls

Another Early Morning Pic (Rare)!

Melange Bar (Cabo's Version of Patty O's)

The Best Bartender (Luis)....Went above and beyond the call of duty....Cancun, Vegas, Anywhere...Period!

since you have been to both would you be willing to elaborate any on the two resorts as there are a lot of people on the fence and since there are very few people from the board that have been to both resorts - your insight would be most appreciated

from the looks of it ---------- i take it that you enjoyed y our trip to ttr cabos and would recommend it to those whom have been to cancun

thanks so much for the pics

Rob,

After seeing all this pics,I don't know how anyone could say no. There's a view! I don't see seaweed!!!! This trip is going to be awesome!!!!! To me, I think that as a group thing that we will have a much better time here then in cancun. Just seems like a place where you can actually sit down and be able to carry on a conversation. more peacefull is where i'm going i guess. Don't get me wrong, you know me, I love to party with the best of them. But i also like to sit back and chill. A lot of times thats the times you remember later in life. I'm so excited!!!! I'm already packing our bags lmao

im on your team with this one in every way

i think the one thing that keeps coming out from those whom have been is the customer service

for me this is so important

after witnessing piss poor service in numerous locations (see vegas) i have traveled over the years - the last thing in the world i would want to do is give one hard earned red penny to any ungrateful a-hole who takes my money for granted and then graciously S#$%@ on me afterwards

i want to spend it somewhere we people actually understand customer service inside and out and provide it

again from what i see and read this place is as good as it gets

this place is saying a lot and im all ears

aside from the great customer service, perhaps the biggest thing for me so far is that freakin heated hot tub on the roof. i can picture all of us sitting around drinking at 3 in the morning overlooking the sea of cortez and having a blast

when i picture cancun at 3 in the morning i can picture swimming in the seaweed

ive done the seaweed and i got beleive that the hot tub deserves at least a shot too -------- ya know?

curtco bongo seaweeding in cancun at 3:00 a.m.

I think why Cancun this time ended up so fun to everyone was because the group was so large. We had the biggest crowd there. kinda gives you the feeling you can do as you please. Just emagine the partying we can do with that same group in cabo where resort is much smaller. We will totaly take that place over. Will have a feel as if we rented the place out for a week. That will be awesome!!! Plus all the new people we will meet on here in next year. If your able to get the april and may group both there your looking at what? 60 people or more? we had over 30 right?

If I know you, you'll be planning special stuff to ddo while we are there. like the fishing trip and prob a booze cruise or somethink. If you need any help doing the leg work on any of that stuff let me know. by the way,ask t what we need to bring on sat.

Rob, Yes we had a great time at Temptations Cabos and the surrounding area. I too, was on the fence earlier this year regarding going back to Cancun or going to Cabos. And as I have enjoyed reading your reports & updates from time to time, I will trying to give you an objective break down on the pros & cons in the next few days to try to help. (Its getting a lil late right now).

The hot tub was one of my favorite places to party at night and we danced almost every night when we were there in march of last year. My hair stayed straighter......that was a bonus. The hot tub didn't open until 5:00 pm but almost everyone went up there when it did. We also loved the live band during the day and playing blind volleyball and a few other games as well. They played alot of music that you would all love too. I am sure you will enjoy being there as well.

i think your counts are fairly accurate

yeah once we get closer and a more firm count on numbers will certainly get some stuff planned (like a deep sea fishing trip, a booze cruise, a charter bus excursion to the bars one night, and much much more)

oh yeah water volleyball season opener this weekend

can you guys pick up some sopapillas and honey at panchos?

absolutely

and im heating up the pool as it is a little bit chilly in there and it might cause some to get nippleitis if i dont warm it up a touch

........................and if someone were to catch a severe case of nippleitis

- i can see where someone may end up getting an eye poked out

I also agree that the one downfall Ive always said about cancun is thats its so commercialized, having never been to cabo, i cant say for sure but ive heard its more authentic....So I am hoping we can grab a majority from our april bunch as it would make my decision a lot easier..... cuz ive been wanting to meet the may group also, putting them together would be definately be an invasion on that city

i just checked through expedia (they dont have reservations for the dates we want just yet) and for our 9 night trip we are planning the rates at the end of march were like 2800 AI for both me and tonya

we recently spent 1600 AI for both of us for 3 nights in cancun

i like what i am seeing so far

Two cons that I can think of, nothing major.

4 1/2 hours from Toronto in a sardine can was a little sore on the legs, for most of you that's probably not an issue.

The second, waiting to leave on the final day at the airport. I went to a pizza joint, 2 slices of pizza, a bottle of water and a beer, 27 US$, I nearly choked, I gave one slice of pizza back, 18 US$, gave the beer back 12 US$, that was my final proce, a slice of pizza and a bottle of water for 12 US$.

The Pros of the place.

Everything else.

The resort was super clean, the food was great, the beer was cold, the hot tub was hot, the people were friendly, the staff was excellent, the late night burgers were fabulous, even the black flagged beach was awesome. Went in the water a couple times, only to my knees and you could feel the undertow, but diving back towards the shore with the waves, they pushed you about 15'.

Went for a walk down the beach one day, all the vendors were out there (by the way, the resort is roped off and the vendors are not allowed across the ropes), anyway, while talking with one of the vendors, it became obvious that there was someone in distress out in the ocean from one of the neighbouring resorts. All of the vendors stopped selling and started whistling, a life guard from a resort came charging out onto the beach and all the vendors pointed to the people in distress, the lifeguard went out and saved two people that were getting pulled out into the ocean, a 12 year old kid and his Dad, without the actions of the vendors and the lifeguards I am sure these two would have drowned. Bottom line,. everyone was looking out for everyone else.

That would be really cool. 11 months out so can't do any firm committments at this point, but would love for something like that to occur. Have been following and enjoying your posts and insights for years.

I hear you too with staying up all day. I get around it by having a sleep from about 2-4 everyday. Missed it once this year and had to end the evening by 12:00 am. Also heard someone on another post refer to it as a SNAP, sex and an afternoon nap, works great...

Maybe lightning will strike.
