I hear you too with staying up all day. I get around it by having a sleep from about 2-4 everyday. Missed it once this year and had to end the evening by 12:00 am. Also heard someone on another post refer to it as a SNAP, sex and an afternoon nap, works great...

it had got to the point where T would not allow me to take afternoon naps as she said i turned into a grinch bitch when i woke up so i stopped taking naps lol

T normally does not say too much about my behavior - so when she does - i know its got to be really bad lol

We have been to both resorts. Our first time to any Temptations was in Cancun. The next 6 visits to Temptations have all been to Los cabos

Starters , there is no comparing the two resorts, they might have the same name but that is where the similarities stop. Cabo has a hot tub open till 3 in the morning

The food in cabo is way better, the weather is way better, the sea is a lot nicer, enough though you cant swim in it as the undercurrents are really bad. If you walk 10 minutes down there is a spot. The sea in Cancun was so gross when we were there, I would never go in it. Oh ya, cabo has a jacuzzi tub with a swim up bar open till 3 in the morning. I almost forgot to mention that.

You don't have to fight for chair around the pool in Cabo, can go to any restaurant that is open for dinner with no reservations. There are 4 of them , which are all good. It's a smaller resort so you get to know most people pretty well. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who is there I guess, but so far we have found it a good thing. The pool bar closes at 5 and everyone heads up to the jacuzzi bar, did I mention its open till 3 in the morning with its own swim up bar? How many places in the world can you find that? Also , I read some people complaining it was to hot, well I am somewhat of a pro as I have put in many hours in there. The side of the hot tub closest to the stairs is a good 10 degrees cooler. The other side is where most of the jets are shooting out the hot water.

Also try this site, beachdestinations.com we have used it many times and never had a problem, and is most likely cheaper then Expedia.

Thanks for the report..... Is the jacuzzi w/ a swim up bar open until 3 still? haha it definately sounds like a great place, though B&B scared me a bit with costs of the outside the resort things lol....

The activities in melange bar are good, depending on what couples they get to do the shows. Most of time they are very funny and sexy.

The entertainment staff are all new as all the old staff went to work next door at the Barcelo, I would guess for a lot more money. They are ok, and will get better with experience.

There is a sports bar in San Jose called shooters, we love going there in April to watch the hockey playoffs, the place is packed with Canadians: doesn't get much better then watching hockey, drinking coronas and eating. By the way the food is awesome. We have never had a bad meal there. We ate and drank all night and the bill came to 50 bucks. Felt like I was stealing it..

Sadly you'll have to count us out on this one Rob. TTR was a lot quieter when all the people from CC left after our 1st week, the 2nd week people were very boring except for a few and we don't really want to be stuck in a quiet resort for a whole week.
It does look a lot nicer resprt but we couldn't imagine it being as much fun as TTR

i think the resort is important but i think far more important are the people and if we are all going to cabo ----- and for 9 days this time ---------- im sure you guys will consider it

Yes, there is a swim up jacuzzi bar open to 230 in the morning but the hottub stays open as late as you want it. I can't believe I forgot to mention that.

Those prices were just at the airport, highway robbery if you ask me. I don't know what a bottle of Cabo Wabo costs anywhere, but here is a comparison. I went to duty free on the way back, thought I would get a great deal, a 26er of CaboWabo was like 66US$, I thought holy $hit, your kidding me. I thought maybe everything was prced too high, I asked to see some Canadian Whisky and got two bottles of Crown Royal, and these were 40 ouncers for 34 US$., go figure.

Everywhere else that we went was reasonable off the resort. We went into Cabo St Lucas, we did the tour out to the famous rock, that only cost us 10.00, on the way the guy stopped at the little marina, I got 3 beers (one for the driver), that was like 5 bucks or something, Sammy Hagar's, a couple Corona's were about 5 bucks, even in that high end mall, they let us negotiate in the silver jewellery stores, They started Barb off at 80.00 for a ring, we paid 33.00.

We ate at Appleby's, MacDonald's, went into San Jose Del Cabo, went to a tequilla store, everything except the airport wherever we went was reasonable.

Oh good, I was just worried that if we did do an off the resort excursion that it would cost an arm and a leg and I love to go see the town and city when i go away, so it would have been way to expensive at the airport prices you mentioned.... thats a big part of my decision making, as its around a 6 hour flight (which sucks) so if it was a lot more expensive, then I was just going to rule it out and head back to cancun as usual, however if its reasonable and having never been to the west coast, its pretty appealing.....

The fridge is also stocked similarily to Cancun, (a couple beers in the fridge), so of you can't find a drink, you can always grab a beer out of your fridge.

The melange bar used to be open until 7 in the morning, but it wasn't when we were there three weeks ago. So after 230 in the morning, not much open except on thursday friday and saturdays when the disco is open till 4 or 5

jim just catch a flight to dallas and spend the night here at the house (we live 10 minutes to the terminal at dfw)

will be a direct flight the following morning sjd via mexicana airlines

that is still better than nice shoes in cacnun - they shut down around 1 the last few times we have been - really a shame too as they never seem to open that place and when they do its not that good really

no wonder i go to bed at midnight every trip lol

except when we went off the resort - the night we went to bulldogs i was up all night - ummmmmm maybe there is a reason -------- it was fun

ahh thats good, as long as there is some way to have a drink, cuz im usually up rather late or early depending on how you look at it lol....Its nice to know there is a mega store across the street, im assuming one could load up the fridge with beer and a booze if need be...

will be no problem you staying here that night im sure april and hillbilly will be here as well as they always stay here the night before departure. we can stay up late and watch that movie "the crying game"

yeah ive just got to believe the night life at ttr cabo is going to be better than ttr cancun

so many people on the cancun forum are upset with the resort and the way they take people away from the resort every night

will be a nice change to have everyone stick around the resort most every night and have fun in the hot tub
