not saying i am right or wrong here .................but i think you prove my point for me even better than i could

because of some bad experiences you have either seen or heard you seem to lean towards lumping all single men into the "single guys suck bandwagon"

i hope i am mistaken ?

but in your own words you said,

again i think we have to be very careful about gathering groups of people up and making blanket statements about people (whether those people be single, black, hispanic, gay, jewish, couples or whatever)

its okay to say you had a bad experience with a certain type of person but i think we should all step away from blanket statements and prejudices towards people who are not like us...........

actually it has everything in the world to do with discrimination

basically you are saying because of a persons marital status they are not welcome and that is as discriminatory as one can get and it is also very shallow and imho incredibly sad

this is not a discrimination issue but an atmosphere issue. All the resorts in Mexico accomodate different crowds. This is the point I was making that Desires does not need to have singles and the probable reasons they do not. Not all singles can be as behaved as your friends.Singles are welcome at Temptatins and many other resorts. Rob I believe Temptations discriminates against families. Kids are not allowed at Temptations. I do not think you would want kids there(kinda ruin the mood have a bunch of 3 & 4 year olds running around the pool during the Ms. Temptation contest.

Thanks Diamondhead for your support of the singles crowd.......again, imo and it is my imo, there are lots of couples only places, family/kids places..... too many to mention but where are their places for singles to have fun????? I think I can count two resorts....Hedo and Temptation. Isn't it strange according to some on this forum how we 'singles' are the drunks and the perverts and the marrieds and lifestyles are the well behaved, lol. I have met more than my share of too 'friendly' married men and it's pathetic that there weren't more singles for we women to meet bc I don't want to meet anyone's husband and most men I know don't want to meet another's wife. Sure there are exceptions but as mentioned if the single/married ratio at these resorts were more balanced you would find we would not be bothering each other. Again I am glad you see things from my perspective, have a great time in Cabo, it was great when I was there and if I return I will join you guys in the gigantic hottub with you and all the couples AND singles and raise a glass.

Hi Rob, it's not that we're anti single men in swinging it's just that a lot of them treat women like a piece of meat and that ain't cool. We've met some great single guys and some not so great single guys but we find them very pushy when we're at a lifestyle club for example. They assume that because we're swingers Lynfa will sleep with them even when they are fat, hairy and butt ugly.
The bad ones stay in everyones memories a lot longer than the good ones. Plus as lynfa is very bi we prefer to meet couples where the woman is also bi and there's no use for single guys. We've heard way too many bad stories to have our minds changed and we don't even visit clubs that allow single guys anymore.
Sorry to those of you that are genuine and treat women with respect but with lots and lots of couples your fighting a losing battle

We'd like to add that we've only met a few bad single guys in 3 visits to TTR which isn't bad at all. We've met a lot more pushy couples there than single guys if we're honest. TTR has a good mixture we think plus if we don't want to be bothered by single men we just make it clear we ain't interested. Simples peeps

you see les that is my point we are the same way on this - the single people are fun, less stressful, more considerate and more engaging

now i will readily admit.........

from our expereinces (and you and lynfa know this) we are more closet freindly in these matters and have never even been to a true "ifestyle" environment so we have not seen those BAD singles like you guys have

however, the only times we have been around people who are in the lifestyle and single people were around.............

we have noticed the exact opposite (as you mentioned above that you have)

the lifestyle people (other than yourself and maybe two other lifestyle couples we know either from either through cancuncare or here in dfw) are the people we dont care to be around PERIOD.........as they are incredibly pushy, rude, obnoxious, degrading, just down right disresectful and more importantly oblivious to everything other than trying hook up.

In all of our trips to Hedonism, Desire (Cabo and Cancun) and both Temptations we've never met any couples like you are describing. Those pushy lifestyle people may exist but we haven't met them--not once.
We've only met the respectful, sexy and fun ones. Pretty strange, huh?

we were at desire earlier this year and in between all the fun, we heard rumors of cabo turning into the timeshare version of desire... basically, as we understand it, if you wanted to buy a desire timeshare, it was going to be in cabo, and they'd have little to no tourists going. i'm guessing the thought is to give the 'regulars' their own resort.

has anyone else heard anything like this?

Well I hope that TTR Cabo stays the way it is. As a single man I like having options. I may be a drunk aloof idiot but I don't hit on other mens wives and outside of a game at the pool or of friends don't take pictures at the resort. My mom, god rest her soul, and my dad raised me to respect other people.

If I have urges and don't have a partner well there is always channel 12. And I am ok with that.

There is a new au naturel club opening in Jamaica about 35 minutes from Montego Bay Airport in November. It is named "N" and is the former Pebbles Resort. 1000 feet of beach and 96 two room suites. No word as to singles or couples only, but would assume singles would be welcome as with Hedo.
Is it just me or do the women who participate in this blog seem to be mostly interested in "meeting" other women as opposed to "meeting" other men??? Is this to be construed as a failure of "man"kind to provide the things that the ladies are looking for??? Do we all need to get in closer touch with our feminine side?? Is it time to panic??????

yesterday, we were cutting up a tree that had fallen on our house - a willow. so there i am, chainsaw in hand, cutting it into manageable pieces. and minh - she's tiny.... maybe 5'2" and 110 pounds sopping wet - is manhandling, er womanhandling, these stumps into the back of the truck. not gingerly, either. she's THROWING them into the back, over the side of the bed. and THEN, she comes over and frikken DRAGS a 10' log over so i don't throw my back out. so i lift it to see how heavy it is, and it's got to be 200lbs..... easy.

something's got to be done about this.

I don't really get what you are saying but I am single and straight as a board. I am anti obnoxious behaviour and imo that can be marrieds and singles. Someone mentioned that singles are welcome at other resorts and that Cabo should be Desire for couples only. What you fail to realize is that all adult only places allow singles, but it is places like Hedo and Temptation that have a fun singles friendly atmosphere that lacks in the other places and don't draw the singles crowd. That is why we 'fight' for the few resorts that work for us. I don't like being hit on by drunks anymore than married women do, but it sure is less fun to go somewhere and not have other bachelors around who may be nice and decent.
