| Day 6 - Woke up, headed to the beach, laid on the beach beds all morning, enjoyed a massage and the views, ran to the bar from the beds a few times for drinks...there is a bar on the beach, however it was empty, no bartender, no alcohol...why waste a perfectly positioned bar????   Had great hamburgers at the buffet for lunch, laid out in the chairs at the pool, back to the beach for a walk and to visit the vendors, bought a few coverups, they sell everything on the beach, and the will bargain with you. One coverup was $25, ventually got 2 for $20. Back to the pool, with more drinks, then up tp the jacuzzi, for shots, luge and chocolate.  Middle of the pool where you can lay out We finally made it to dinner at the Japanese restaurant, it's not opened every night, we had heard thorughout the week that is was not good. I love Japanese, so I wanted to go. It was NOT good, very dissappointed oh well...to the bar belly up for lemon drop shots from Ceasar, had a few shots, had a few drinks. Their was a DJ there at the bar playing stupid youtube comedy videos, no music, people staring at the screen with little to no interaction with each other. Staff did the perfect couple competition, this was fun. (It seems like each day there may be one fun event they staff is a part of, other than that very dull staff...for sure).  After the competition, everyone disappeared, we were still belly up, about 8 people at the bar total...went to check out the jacuzzi 4 people there...so back to the room about 12am, our earliest night by far. Trying to be just like Glenn, the double-fisted expert     Our bed frm the night before!

| Day 7 - Final day in Beautiful Lo Cabos... Got up, packed our bags, went across the street for a quick lunch at Baja Blue, enjoy the view of the Sea of Cortez, could also see the front of the hotel...it's looks deserted, almost like it's not opened, small sign out front, fountain not working, no cars in the parking lot...not very inviting.    Back to the beach beds for a few drinks and relax before our flight out. Transportation picked us up no problem...Airport very busy, loys of food and duty free options at the airport. No jetway, board the plane from outside...   Adios Cabo!!!!!

| Our views on Cabo, please note that this is just our opinion... Did we have a great vacation? Absolutely How was the rooms and grounds of the resort? Average, well kept Atmosphere as a whole? VERY relaxed, boring during down time almost too relax, had to work to get the party going. Entertainment staff? Terrible Bartenders and Waiters? Great Front Desk Staff? Not very helpful Japanese Restaurant? Below average Italian Restaurant? Great Lunch buffet? Great with a perfect location next to pool Main buffet? Great Jacuzzi Pool? Fun can definetly be had however you have to make the party happen, music is bad and closes too earlier (2:30am) Beach? Amazing Pool? Fun when making a party happen, however music awful. Cabo San Lucas? Can't wait to return So would we return to Temptation Cabo? No Would we return to Cabo? For sure, just not this resort We were surprised that Cabo shares the name Temptation with Cancun, they are nothing alike...we have been to Sandals Negril and Temptation Cabo is alot like that, relaxing, plently of opportunity to get involved in your novels, dull. I'm not saying it was a bad resort, just after being at Cancun Temptation, it was not what I expected from the resort, totally different vibe. Great trip after we got over the intial shock of the calmness and no similarity to Cancun. There was not alot of info on Cabo before we left, so with this TR we are hoping that people will have more information available to them. Please remember we are just trying to provide information regarding OUR experience. Hope this helps. Next Year??? Back to the Cun BABY FO SHO!!!

| I wanted to add somethings, No need for cups in Cabo, the bar is never too busy and the cups are a little larger than Cancun, so no problem getting a drink. They give a towel card when you first arrive...go to the towel hut, turn in your card and recieve a towel, no problem at all. You can get a new dry towel anytime you need one up until 6pm when the towel hut closes, remember to keep your towel because at night at the jacuzzi there is no where to get a towel. Remember to get your towel card back on your last day for check out. The check out staff will not ask for your towel card, but you must turn it in because when you check in, you sign a charge slip for $50 for two towels, ask for this charge slip to be destroyed or they may charge you.

| What a great trip report, wow! I must say I agree, it was considerably more relaxed than I was expecting and neither the lady and I being one to start our own craziness, we were pretty quiet the whole time. Definitely the most tame I've ever been on a trip. Oh well, we'll give Cancun a whirl and see how that goes. Great meeting everyone! |

| Actually they DID...Careless Whisper was playing one day by the pool, love the song...at the right time, obvioulsy playing this song during the day, by the pool, is NOT the right time. Melissa and I thought of you right away...because we know what a huge fan you are...LOL

We did like Cabo however it was not Cancun...had we never been to Cancun before I'm sure we would be back to Cabo, but you just can't beat the party/atmosphere in Cancun... May 2011??? ARE YOU IN??? Hope we can all get together again, we miss you all, especially our late night crew!!!

| Thanks for the great trip report! We are headed to Temptations Cabo on Thursday, and this has by far been the most, and BEST, information we've gotten. We went to Secrets in Riviera Maya last year, and chose Temptations this year to "up the ante". I have to ask, would you mind sharing the details of the luge, modified luge, and the butt bong? Mixology and operating instructions would be great.  We have our own version of what I suspect is the butt bong, but failed to come up with a catchy name. I can't steal the name since it is clearly in use, so thought we should honor it instead.Thanks! |
