Last week, my husband and I visited our second home: Temptation Resort As always, it was tons of fun day and night. We were only there a few days, so we decided not to do any excursions or leave the resort at all. We wanted to spend as much time at our favorite place as possible. We arrived on a Thursday morning. The front desk gal was a little slow. We couldn't believe how long it took her to find a room. We didn't even care if there was one available at the time (we were early) It seemed like it was her first week using a computer. Oh well, at least Charlie from the bell desk brought us 2 refreshing cervezas to help us pass the time. That afternoon, we headed to the Sports Pool for one of my favorite things: the Foam Party! So many bubbles, so much foam and tons of fun. The only problems were: 1) our eyes kept burning from getting soapy water in them (ouch) and 2) I dropped some money in the pool and because it was so soapy, we couldn't find any of it. (It was only a few dollars for tip money) Thursday evening held my favorited event: Lingerie Night. I had brought 4 pieces of lingerie and had a hard time deciding which to wear. It's the only time I can wear sexy lingerie in public, so I wanted to pick the perfect one! Patty's was so much fun, as always. The rest of the (short) week was much of the same, which is a GOOD thing! Good food, good drinks, fun activities at the pool, great dancing at Paty'Os, friendly guests and amazing staff - everywhere at the resort. Monday is also a favorite of mine as that's the Brazilian night. At El Embarcadero (the buffet) the waiters used to come around and bring sizzling grilled meats on a giant skewer from table to table. On this Monday, however, diners had to go to get them. That was fine by me. Actually, it was a better than the old way as you can get your meat faster. (And who wants to wait for their meat??? :wink3: ) Tip: On Brazilian night at El Embarcadero, try the BREAD. Yes, it's only bread, but it's an amazing garlicky crispy bread that was toasted on a skewer and my husband and I agreed it was the best bread we'd ever had. During our stay, we met some amazing guests. I have to start by saying that I am extremely shy in real life. I am proudly an introvert and take comfort in being this way. However, at Temptation, it's like a whole new world and it was so fun and interesting to talk to people from all over the world! Fun people we met: We met Angel and her husband from Brooklyn, NY - she was celebrating her 40th birthday (Happy Birthday Angel!) Spoke to a fun couple from Oklahoma. Didn't get their names, but the husband had a pink Bubba mug that said "BEARDED FOR HER PLEASURE" I remember they were NOT Sooner fans! The were fans of the OTHER college team in OK, the Cowboys. They were great to talk to. There were also Cassandra and Lorenzo from Houston + Austin, TX. Fun, fun, fun couple. Another fun couple were Jackie and her husband from Mentor, OH (Go Cavs!) We were there during Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals and as we were all Cleveland Cavaliers fans, we had a great time watching the game, even if it was broadcasted en espanol! Then there was a group of single guys from Baltimore + Washington DC. Don't know if they ever "got lucky" but one of the guys was maybe 7 ft tall, super skinny and danced his butt off every minute at Paty'Os! There was also a group of Filipino guys (maybe Vietnamese?) and when Sarah69 saw all of them, she said "the Temptation website had a promotion: 2 for 1 Chinese!" Another interesting bunch were the Scottish guys who danced in t-shirts and kilts one night. My favorite people to talk to were Chelsey and Pedro. They won the Body Shots competition, hands down. Their methods were very clever and erotic! They were also great dancers and rocked that dance floor. And the best eye candy was this couple from Quebec: Patrick and Jacquie. Well, Jacquie was the eye candy, really. Almost everyone in the Sexy pool had their eyes on her as she was drop-dead gorgeous. She was also super-friendly, too. They spoke only in French (very little English) so it was hard to converse, but all we had to do was bring up VIAGRA and we all had a few laughs. The staff at Temptation was amazing. So friendly and funny. Alfred at Diegos' worked the bar all by himself and it was like watching the Tasmanian Devil mix drinks! That's how busy and quick he was! Here are some (innocent) photos: The beach: Our hotel room (we got the basic room, near the Quiet Pool. After we tipped housekeeping, we got towel animals!) Paty'Os: El Embarcadero buffet, featuring my favorite green juice! This guy cleans the washed up sea weed every morning. It's a lot of work for one guy with a small wheelbarrow. I wish I could write more and maybe organize my thoughts better but since we've been back, we had to jump back into the hectic real world of work, home and kids. I'll try to fix this review up a little when I have time. THANK YOU TEMPTATION RESORTS FOR ANOTHER WONDERFUL VACATION. i TE AMO MUCHO!
