I've finished the pics and albums settings. Here's a few things of note:

    • A warning message was added to the upload page, we cant have nudity or close ups of naughty bits even if covered. These get me booted by advertising networks and may get the site blocked from work environments and other places. Offenders may be subject to removal of pics and/or albums and permission to upload may be revoked.

    • Instead of a limit per member by number of pics there is now a personal allocation of file space. Each member has 30Mb of file space. The system will automatically reduce pics of a large file size to approx 200Kb-250Kb. This means that each user will be able to store around 120-150 pics. There may be ways to increase this file space allocation in future, such as via high post count, high number of likes or paid membership add on.

    • There is a restriction on the maximum file size you can upload which is 5Mb. If an attempt is made to upload a pic larger than this then it will be rejected and you'll need to resize the pic yourself before upload. Large pics take up processing power and if several people are uploading several huge pics at the same time it could affect the performance of the rest of the site.

    • There are defined site categories of pics that are optional to use. For example there is a Temptation category, you can upload pics to there or to your own personal album. This means that someone who wants to view pics only from Temptation can do so. I've included the main adult only hotels and there is an others category.

    • Guests (users who have not registered or not logged in) cannot upload pics but they can view other people's pics if the owner of those pics has their privacy options set to allow this. There are more privacy options than the old system, configurable for each album and the rule about naughty pics means there shouldn't really be anything that needs to be hidden away in any case.

How to change album privacy options:

Note: This applies to existing albums you wish to change the settings for. If you create a new album you'll be asked to set the privacy before it is published.

Go to your albums via the Media Tab or click here and then click 'Your albums' link on the left. Select the album you want to set privacy for.

On the right hand side you'll see a link to Album Permissions under your avatar. Click the link and a dialog box pops up with all your options. All are self explanatory, custom users means you choose actual member names you wish to share with.
