Does anyone know about any decent internet around here that you can purchase for short term?

Up to 3 months would be optimal...

Our neighbor whom we are sharing with is moving, and we don't want to sign up for the +8 month ones

My cablemas is month to month. Not sure if it works that way for internet only as I have the video package and the high speed internet package.

I don't know your housing arrangement but maybe you can find another neighbor to glom onto and share the cost.

Had Skye for a while but that is, or was, an 18 month commitment. Wanted to change our plan about a year into the contract and they wanted an 18 month extension for a simple change to the plan.

That was before we knew better.
