Cancun Tours - Isla Mujeres Cruise by Catamaran
Isla MujeresSail away to Isla Mujeres on board a beautiful trimaran. A full day out this tour includes all your drinks while on board the boat, an hours snorkeling at one of the reefs, the chance to pet a shark, full buffet lunch and free time to explore Isla Mujeres. Why not rent a golf cart, browse the hundreds of souvenir shops or simply relax on the beautiful North beach. On the way back fly the spinnaker sail if you dare.
The boat used is spotlessly clean and has two bathrooms. The crew are friendly and fun, they'll make sure your drink is never empty. Lie back under the hot Caribbean sun and listen to the music from the boats CD system. Snorkel the reef and see myriads of tropical fish and sometimes even turtles. Golf carts are a great way to see Isla Mujeres and with an hour and a half free time you'll have enough time to do a circuit. Golf cart hire is not included but only cost $15 for an hour and each cart holds four people, so it's not expensive (one drivers id per cart is required) The video shown here is of the private cancuncare.com booze cruise which we run from time to time. Check our forum for details of our next one. We use a different but very similar boat to the tour available below and our itinerary is almost identical so the video should give you a good idea of what's in store when you sail away to Isla Mujeres.

What is a spinnaker ride?Have a look at the video above which shows a spinnaker ride in motion.
On the way back on this tour, subject to Mother Nature, the crew will anchor the boat in calm waters and attach a giant sail called a spinnaker to the catamaran. The sail has a rope swing seat attached to it. Those brave enough can dive from the boat and swim out to the swing and position themselves centrally. Once ready the crew will try to catch the wind with the sail and you'll be lifted right out of the water and swing up to 40 feet high for a few minutes before either being lowered back to the water. Of course, you can always jump! ....... More About Isla |
