Temptation Resort completed a 40 million dollar renovation in August 2017, having been closed for 10 months. The result is an amazing adult playground that sets new standards in adult-only hotels and is sure to become a worldwide iconic hotel.

Temptation Resort Overview
Providing more adult-themed fun than can possibly be imagined, Temptation Cancun is proud of its reputation as having one of the highest rates of repeat customers among all hotels in Cancun. Temptation Resort Cancun remains our own personal favorite hotel and through the years we’ve developed quite a relationship with them. We are now able to offer Temptation Cancun reservations direct with the hotel’s own reservation system. Activities run day and night, with silly games, evening shows. The genuine friendliness of the staff here is legendary.
Contrary to many stories doing the internet rounds Temptation Cancun is not exclusively a “swingers resort”. The resort is lifestyle friendly and is a popular destination for lifestyle couples from across the world. Temptation Resort is certainly much more than just ‘a place with no kids’. The fun-fuelled resort provides the opportunity to unwind with like-minded travelers in a risqué but not overly sexual atmosphere.
Many of the games and fun are adult-themed and some even involve brief nudity from the more extrovert of willing volunteers. Public displays of sexual activity are not tolerated and can result in being ejected from the hotel. Topless sunbathing is permitted at the Sexy Pool, Quiet Pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and beach. Bottoms must be worn: full nudity is not permitted. Photo and video use is restricted at the main pool and during some theme nights. Respect other guests’ privacy when taking pictures.

Temptation Pools
Temptation Resort Cancun’s Sexy Pool and Quiet Pool offer different atmospheres.
Sexy Pool
The large, free-form main pool is known as the Sexy Pool. This is the place where the Playmakers keep things going all day long.
Quiet Pool
The Quiet Pool, a long free-form pool bordered by a lawn and garden, offers a place to relax, away from the constant party.
Bash Jacuzzi
SKY 3.5 rooftop pool
SKY 3.5 is the rooftop pool and lounge associated with The Tower. Compare the access included with your room or package before booking.
Beach
A flat, white-sand beach runs 300 yards (0.27 km) in front of the resort, offering lounge chairs for sunning, pre-bookable cabanas for shade, and calm Caribbean water for swimming and snorkeling.
Temptation Webcam
Unfortunately, the Temptation Webcam, which was situated high up on Bash Tower, was removed in late 2025. The webcam showed part of Bash Nightclub, with views extending out to the Temptation Sexy Pool and then across the beach and water towards Isla Mujeres.
No one knows the real reason for its removal, but a new CEO was appointed around that time and the gossip is that it was his decision. One suggested reason is guests complaining about privacy (although you could see people moving and walking around, each person was the size of 6 pixels, so no one could be identified). Another popular theory is that hotel management were reluctant to disclose their occupancy levels, which the webcam clearly communicated.
The static photo below shows what the webcam used to show, and is included for historic and sentimental reasons. The timestamp reads 9:46, and there’s not much activity.

Restaurants, bars and spa
Temptation Cancun offers buffet and à la carte dining across seven restaurants, with six bars around the resort. Choices include Asian, Italian, seafood, Mexican and international cuisine. The resort also includes a romantic, air-conditioned health spa offering massage, body and facial treatments, plus a fitness centre.
Temptation Restaurants

Amores
The Mexican buffet serves breakfast and dinner, with traditional dishes and bold local flavours. It is a casual choice when you want a range of options without committing to a long dinner.
Rain
Rain is the international buffet for breakfast and lunch. Live cooking stations bring a little more variety to a quick meal between the pool and the rest of your day.
Romanza
Romanza is the resort’s Italian dinner restaurant, serving pasta and other traditional recipes. The stated dress code is smart casual, so plan for a change out of pool clothes.
Flame
Flame focuses on grilled meat at dinner, alongside starters and carpaccios. It is the pick for a more substantial evening meal without the formal dress code of some other venues.
Sea Flirt
Sea Flirt serves breakfast and seafood-led dinners, with Peruvian, Caribbean and Creole influences. Dinner is smart casual; guests in eligible Tower categories should check whether à la carte breakfast is included in their booking.
Sutra
Sutra brings together Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese flavours for dinner. If you want the teppanyaki experience, the resort says to reserve it in advance.
She
She is the couples’ dinner experience, pairing an aphrodisiac-inspired menu with a show. It has an elegant dress code and requires a reservation.
Temptation Bars
Bash
Bash is the main bar for evening drinks, theme nights and late-night dancing. This is where the resort’s nighttime party comes together.
Boost
Boost is the swim-up bar in the Sexy Pool, serving drinks through the daytime games and pool-party atmosphere.
Zilanzio
Zilanzio is the swim-up bar at the Quiet Pool. Head here for a drink in a more relaxed setting.
Score
Score is the sports bar, with large screens showing games and drinks served into the evening and late night.
Level 3.5
Level 3.5 is the lobby bar, open from morning until late. It makes a convenient meeting point before heading out for the evening.
SKY 3.5 rooftop bar
SKY 3.5 sits atop The Tower, with ocean views, cocktails, a pool and Jacuzzis. Check whether access is included with your room or package before relying on it as part of your stay.
Other places to eat and drink
Caffeine
Caffeine is the resort’s café for gourmet coffee, baguettes and desserts. It is listed from early morning until late night, making it useful between meals.
Bash late-night snacks
When the party carries on, Bash offers casual snacks in the evening and late at night. It is a handy option after dinner or between dances.

Trendy Rooms
A straightforward resort-view choice with a king-size bed, balcony or terrace, and rain-shower bathroom. If your days will be spent around the pools and your nights at Bash, this is the room to compare first.
