Cancun ATV and Cenote Tour
Cancun Adventure ToursJust half an hour from Cancun is the sleepy fishing village of Puerto Morelos. With fantastic beach, great snorkeling and now with Jungle and Cenote ATV tour - riding quad bikes which reach speeds of up to 75km/hr. Starting at the beach and traveling in convoy you make your way through the town to the main road where your tour guide will ensure safe crossing at the intersection. From thereon it's jungle all the way along bumpy potholed roads and tracks for a total length of about 26kms or 16 miles. Feeling adventurous? Why not combine this tour with the Puerto Morelos Snorkel Tour!
You'll arrive at the first cenote of the trip. It is rumored that if you visit the cenote but don't swim then bad luck will befall you. Two rock ledges a couple of meters apart lie either side of the 40 meter deep water. From here, shuffle through a small opening and pass through into a large underground chamber. After 45 minutes here it's back on the ATV bikes for several more miles in to the jungle and onwards to the second cenote, here there will be either a zipline or rope swing depending on which cenote you visit. Use either or just jump from the cliff! After a further 45 minutes here you will start the journey back to the beach where you can enjoy refreshments and snacks and get ready for the optional add on of a snorkel excursion over the reef.
