Puerto Aventuras is located 98 km south of Cancun and around 2 hours drive away. Puerto Aventuras has a fine white sandy beach. The Dolphin Discovery centre, the base for your Riviera Maya dolphin swim is built on a tropical island in the middle of the lagoon.

This location is most conveniently situated for hotels in Tulum along the southern part of the Riviera Maya. Those staying closer to Playa del Carmen will be closer to dolphin swim locations at Delphinus, Xcaret and Xel Ha. Those staying in Cancun have similar swim with the dolphin opportunities based at Isla Mujeres.
